Support Season II

Radical Collaboration compels us to forge partnership with community organizations and private businesses that are aligned with the mission of our media platform. We need a worldwide movement to address systemic injustice and dismantle the system of mass incarceration in the U.S.

Season II of the One in Four Podcast is brought to you in partnerships with the Speakers Bureau of Community Family Life Services (CFLS), a Washington D.C. nonprofit that provides trauma-informed services to women returning home after incarceration, survivors of domestic violence, and homeless families as they move toward self-sufficiency.

A group of volunteers from the AmericCorps Public Allies program is also part of this surge media effort. The Public Allies are part of a national movement committed to advancing social justice and equity by engaging and activating the leadership of all young people.

Please support the production of this second season by donating directly to Community Family Life Services. This donation will cover the costs of paying the Reporters in Training and the production and post-production expenses to roll out this season fast.

This media platform has been inspired by the prophetic words of many social justice leaders throughout history, including Revered Lynice Pinkard, former pastor of the First Congregational Church of Oakland. We first heard about Reverd Pinkard in an interview by Mark Leviton that we read in The Sun magazine.

The concept of Radical Collaboration comes from Reverend Pinkard’s ideas about unapologetically living the gospel to serve those most in need. This is what compels us to forge partnership with community organizations and private businesses that are aligned with the mission of our media platform. We want to highlight what these organizations are doing to help those re-entering society and encourage mindful consumption that has positive social impact.
