About Season II
Season II of the One in Four Podcast is dedicated to the topic of Re-entry Amidst a Pandemic and for this timely season we are thrilled to be partnering with the Speakers Bureau of Community Family Life Services (CFLS), a Washington D.C. non-profit that provides trauma-informed services to women returning home after incarceration, survivors of domestic violence, and homeless families as they move toward self-sufficiency.
This partnership offers a unique paid professional development opportunity for returning citizens, while sharing critical stories about vulnerable members of our society. Most importantly, it leverages the valuable insight of people with lived experience. The Reporters in Training are part of the core production team this season and will document what it is like to go from incarceration to freedom in a societal lockdown—possibly without family support, housing, or a job.
In order to produce this season we need funding to pay the Reporters in Training and cover the production costs to get these stories our while they are relevant and can influence critical policy decisions. Find out more how to Support Us. We need your help to elevate these voices.
