Kadija Clifton is a community engagement officer with the Council for Court Excellence, an organization whose mission is to enhance the justice system in the District of Columbia to serve the public equitably.  Kadija is also a mother and a Senior Advisor and Reporter for the One in Four Podcast.

After experiencing mass incarceration while pregnant, Kadija was able to complete her sentence and now advocates on behalf of incarcerated men and women. In 2019 she started the Hug A Felon Project, an initiative designed to acknowledge the trauma brought on by mass incarceration in the District of Columbia. She is an alumni of the ASPIRE entrepreneurial program, Together We Bake, and of the Georgetown Pivot Program.
